Narracan Falls
Follow the sound of Narracan Creek to a compact volcanic waterfall and a quiet reserve made for an unhurried picnic.
The experience
Narracan Falls drops about five metres across the older volcanic rock of Narracan Creek, with rocky rapids continuing through the valley below. From the open reserve, a short dirt path leads towards the riverbank and the best view of the cascade.
The reserve provides parking and picnic tables and sits immediately beyond Latrobe City in neighbouring Baw Baw Shire, near Thorpdale. Its inclusion extends Eden of the East to a closely connected regional natural attraction; visitors should follow Baw Baw Shire information for current access and reserve conditions.
