The experience
Morwell River Falls rewards the walk with movement, sound and the cool presence of water. The river descends through several drops, creating changing vantage points as the track moves downstream and the surrounding bush closes around the experience.
The picnic area sits close to the car park, while the marked Grade 3 walk to the falls asks for steady footing and a little effort. That transition is part of the pleasure: everyday noise falls away, the river grows louder and the landscape takes over. Allow time to stop at each view and experience the falls as a sequence rather than a single destination.
