One of Australia's most enduring rock performers takes the stage at GPAC, bringing five decades of hits to Traralgon for one unmissable night. Ross Wilson and The Peaceniks are coming to Gippsland, and this is a show long-time fans and newcomers alike will not want to miss.
Ross Wilson has been a cornerstone of Australian rock since the early 1970s. As the driving force behind Daddy Cool, he helped shatter national sales records with the debut album Daddy Who? and the anthem Eagle Rock in 1971. He went on to form Mondo Rock in 1977, delivering a string of beloved 1980s hits including Chemistry, Cool World, and Come Said The Boy, before continuing as a successful solo artist with 26 ARIA Top 40 credits to his name. Twice inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame, Wilson remains one of the most celebrated figures in Australian music.
Audiences can expect a night packed with the songs that defined Australian rock across the decades. The Peaceniks, Wilson's all-star live band, will perform fan favourites from the Daddy Cool and Mondo Rock catalogues alongside tracks from his 2023 blues-tinged EP She's Stuck On Facebook All The Time, released on Bloodlines Records. Expect to sing along, move your feet, and hear a performer who brings genuine craft and energy to every show.
A performance of this calibre at the Gippsland Performing Arts Centre reinforces Latrobe City as a destination for world-class live entertainment. It gives the region's music lovers the chance to experience an iconic Australian artist without leaving the Latrobe Valley, and it supports the vibrant cultural life that makes this community a great place to live and visit.
The show takes place on Sunday 15 November 2026 at 4pm at the Gippsland Performing Arts Centre, 32 Kay Street, Traralgon. Tickets can be purchased through the GPAC website or by calling the box office on (03) 5176 3333.
