About
The smell of sizzling sausages fills the air at the Lions Club of Moe's Street BBQ — a warm and welcoming community gathering right in the heart of Moe. Whether you are heading out for a morning bite or an early lunch, this is the perfect excuse to stop and connect with your neighbours.
The Lions Club of Moe runs this community BBQ as a fundraiser to support local projects and people in need. Set up at the corner of Albert and Moore Streets, the stall brings together volunteers and locals alike for a few relaxed hours of good food and great conversation.
Visitors can expect classic Australian BBQ fare — sausages in bread, and bacon and egg sangas — alongside the chance to share a few words with friendly Lions Club volunteers. It is simple, satisfying, and exactly what a community morning out should be.
Every dollar spent at the BBQ goes back into the Moe community, helping the Lions Club continue its work supporting local causes and those doing it tough. Events like this are a reminder of the strong community spirit that defines Latrobe City.
The BBQ runs from 9:00am until approximately 1:00pm on Thursday 15 October 2026. Head to the corner of Albert and Moore Streets in Moe — no bookings needed, just bring your appetite and say hello.
