Free Skin Checks Traralgon

About

Skin cancer is one of Australia's most preventable health risks, and catching it early can make all the difference — and this is your chance to get checked for free. The Traralgon Lions Club, in partnership with the Lions V Districts Cancer Foundation, is offering no-cost skin checks to the community across two days in August 2026.

The Lions V Districts Cancer Foundation supports communities across Victoria and Southern New South Wales, with Patron Mr Frank Costa AO and Ambassador Mr David Mann AM. This free event is a practical demonstration of the Lions Club's longstanding commitment to health and community wellbeing in Latrobe City.

Visitors can book an appointment with trained skin check professionals at the Service Track on Kay Street, Traralgon. The checks are designed to identify potentially concerning skin spots or lesions early, giving residents peace of mind and, where needed, a pathway to further medical attention.

Events like this are vital for regional communities where access to specialist health services can be limited. By bringing free skin checks directly to Traralgon, the Lions Club is helping close a real gap in preventative healthcare for Latrobe City residents.

Appointments are available on 29 and 30 August 2026. To book your spot, call Greg Pearce on 0494 807 180. Don't wait — early detection saves lives.
