PowerWorks Energy Technology Centre opens its doors every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month, offering visitors a fascinating window into the history of coal and energy technology from 1pm to 3pm.
PowerWorks is a community-run centre dedicated to preserving and sharing the story of energy production and coal's role in powering the Latrobe Valley region. Staffed by passionate volunteers, the centre brings local industrial heritage to life for visitors of all ages.
Explore exhibits tracing the history of coal and electricity generation, and discover how energy technology has shaped the communities of the Latrobe Valley. Groups and schools can also arrange dedicated tours by appointment, with further information available by phone or email.
