Rockabilly rhythms, roaring engines, and spectacular ink collide for a full weekend of colour and community at the Morwell Hotel. This is Latrobe Valley's big celebration of retro culture, bringing together music lovers, car enthusiasts, and pinup fans under one roof — and one very lively carpark.
Organised by Kingpin Kuztums, a company with over 155 past events to their name, Rats Tatts n Pinups is a family-friendly community event set across two full days at the Morwell Hotel. The event draws performers, traders, and crowds from across the region and beyond.
Visitors can expect a packed program of live rockabilly and blues bands plus DJ sets running throughout the weekend, alongside a jaw-dropping Show 'n' Shine of vintage and custom vehicles. Traders, food trucks, and carnival rides round out the experience, making it a genuinely all-ages occasion with something for every member of the family.
Events like this shine a spotlight on Morwell and the broader Latrobe City region as a destination for vibrant cultural festivals, supporting local hospitality, traders, and the creative community in a meaningful way. With 680 people already responding, the buzz is well and truly building.
