About
The Tyers Art Festival Market brings creativity and community together in the relaxed, green surrounds of Bert Christensen Park on the Main Road in Tyers. Stalls fill quickly each year, drawing makers, crafters and curious visitors from across the Latrobe Valley region.
Now in its 47th year, the Tyers Art Festival is one of the region's most enduring community celebrations of art, inspiration and connection. The market component, known as the Makers and Bakers Market, runs on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th November 2026 in conjunction with the wider festival program held at Tyers Hall.
Visitors can expect a lively mix of handmade goods, artisan products and creative stalls across the two market days. Stallholders are welcome to book for one day or both, and the market runs from 10am to 3pm each day. Note that food vans are not part of this market, so organisers are specifically seeking product and craft stalls.
Events like this are vital to the cultural life of small communities like Tyers and the broader Latrobe City region, keeping local makers connected, supporting creative livelihoods, and drawing visitors to experience the area's artistic spirit in a beautiful outdoor setting.
The market runs 10am–3pm on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th November 2026 at Bert Christensen Park, Main Rd, Tyers. To book a stall or enquire, contact Jan on 0400 182 400 or email [email protected]. Visit tyersartfestival.com.au for more about the wider festival program.
