About

Main Street Glengarry comes alive on the third Sunday of each month as locals and visitors browse more than 50 stalls of fresh produce, handcrafted goods and homegrown curiosities. The air carries the scent of coffee, baked goods and cut flowers from the moment you arrive.

The Glengarry Market is a community-run monthly market celebrating locally made and locally grown goods from the Latrobe Valley and surrounding region. Organised by Michelle and Annamae, the market has grown into a beloved fixture on the regional events calendar, drawing stallholders and shoppers from across Gippsland.

Visitors can expect to find fresh fruit and vegetables, original artwork, handmade jewellery, metalwork, woodwork, plants, and specialty stalls catering to dogs, babies and everything in between. Food vans and stalls keep the crowds fed throughout the morning, while the beloved local cafe Platform 3854 serves coffee and snacks. The market is dog friendly, provided your four-legged companion stays on a leash, and on-site toilets and a playground make it an easy outing for families.

Regular community markets like this one play a vital role in keeping local producers and artisans connected to their customers, circulating money within the Latrobe City economy and fostering a strong sense of place and pride in the region. Glengarry's market is a practical demonstration of what a thriving, self-supporting rural community looks like.

This market runs from 9am to 1pm on Sunday 20 December 2026 at Main Street, Glengarry VIC 3854. For more information, contact Michelle on 0421 970 442 or Annamae on 0484 047 827, or follow the market on Facebook.
