Songs of Courage — O'Dowd School of Singing

About

Live voices fill the room and a good cause brings the crowd together — Songs of Courage is an evening of music with genuine heart. The O'Dowd School of Singing brings its students to the Moe RSL stage to perform for their community and raise funds for the Stroke Foundation.

The O'Dowd School of Singing is a local singing school dedicated to nurturing vocal talent across all ages and experience levels. This concert is a showcase of that work, putting students in front of a live audience for a meaningful occasion that reaches well beyond the classroom.

Guest performer Darcy Fox joins the students on stage for a varied program of vocal music. Tickets are affordable for families, with discounted entry for children and pensioners and free admission for under-fives, making this a genuinely accessible night out.

Events like this one demonstrate the strength of Latrobe City's performing arts community. Supporting local students while raising money for stroke research and awareness gives the evening a purpose that resonates long after the final note.

Songs of Courage begins at 7.30pm on Saturday 8 August 2026 at Moe RSL, 63-67 Albert Street, Moe. Tickets are available at the door — Adults $10, Concession $5, Under 5s free. For dinner before the show, Woodie's Eatery is taking table bookings from 6pm; call 5127 100 to reserve a seat.
