Live @ 11: What's New Pussycat

About

The swinging sixties are back, and they have never sounded better. What's New Pussycat brings the spirit of that era roaring into the Gippsland Performing Arts Centre with vocal fireworks, breath-taking harmonies and off-the-wall humour.

What's New Pussycat is the latest show from Melissa Langton and Mark Jones, one of Australia's most enduring and celebrated cabaret partnerships. Together for more than fifteen years and holders of twelve Green Room Awards between them, the duo have toured extensively across Australia and around the world, earning glowing notices from The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald along the way.

Audiences can expect a joyful run through the hits of Tom Jones, Burt Bacharach, The Mamas and The Papas, Petula Clark, Aretha Franklin, Dusty Springfield, Carole King and The Beatles. The show pairs those iconic songs with sharp comedy and the kind of theatrical energy that gets feet stamping and hands clapping from the very first note.

Live performances of this calibre bring world-class entertainment directly to Traralgon, giving Latrobe City residents the chance to experience headline cabaret without leaving the region. Events like this strengthen the cultural life of the community and support the ongoing role of GPAC as a venue of genuine significance for Gippsland.

What's New Pussycat plays at the Gippsland Performing Arts Centre, 32 Kay Street, Traralgon, at 11am on Thursday 8 October 2026. Tickets and further details are available through the GPAC website.
