Morwell War Memorial
Pause at Morwell War Memorial and encounter one part of Latrobe City’s shared story of service, loss and remembrance.
The experience
Unveiled by Brigadier General Harold ‘Pompey’ Elliott, Morwell’s memorial has been relocated to keep its roll of names visible within the changing town.
This memorial is also a stop on the Latrobe City ANZAC Memorial Drive, a 110-kilometre route connecting places of remembrance from Moe to Boolarra. Visit it independently or include it in the wider journey.
