Moe Cenotaph at Moe RSL
Pause at Moe Cenotaph at Moe RSL and encounter one part of Latrobe City’s shared story of service, loss and remembrance.
The experience
Moe raised funds for an eighteen-foot granite memorial bearing the names of local men who served. Unveiled by Brigadier General Harold ‘Pompey’ Elliott, it remains a place to remember carefully and by name.
This memorial is also a stop on the Latrobe City ANZAC Memorial Drive, a 110-kilometre route connecting places of remembrance from Moe to Boolarra. Visit it independently or include it in the wider journey.
