The experience
The Billys Creek section reveals a different face of Morwell National Park. Forest restoration undertaken by local volunteers now rises above walkers, reconnecting habitat through a valley that was once largely cleared and creating a striking living record of patient conservation.
Walks begin from the Junction Road area and connect with the western reaches of the Grand Strzelecki Track. Route lengths and access can change, so this is a place to plan from current park and track information rather than rely on an old itinerary. Carry water, allow for uneven bush tracks and leave dogs at home.
