Old friendships reignite and club pride runs deep when Traralgon Football Club throws open its doors to every past player, member and supporter who has ever worn the maroon. Whether you played one game or one hundred, this is your afternoon to come home.
Traralgon Football Club's Past Players Day is a cherished annual occasion that reunites the people who have shaped the club across generations. Hosted on the Social Club Deck from 1:00pm, the event is open to past players, current members and supporters alike, making it a genuine community celebration for everyone connected to the Maroons.
The afternoon is packed with things to enjoy. At 1:30pm, guests are invited to gather in the Social Rooms for a guided tour of the club's brand-new facilities. A BBQ sizzles throughout the afternoon on the Social Club Deck, and the bar in the Social Rooms is open for the duration. The centrepiece of the day is a special Premiership Reunion Presentation held in the Social Rooms at half time, honouring Reserves premiership sides from 1976, 1986 and 2016, as well as Thirds premiership teams from 1996 and 2006.
Events like this are the heartbeat of community football in Latrobe City, keeping generations of players connected to the club they love long after the final siren. Recognising historic premiership teams ensures that the sacrifices and achievements of earlier eras are never forgotten, and that younger members understand the shoulders they stand on.
Head to the Traralgon Football Club's Social Club Deck from 1:00pm on Saturday 15 August 2026. Game Day matches also run throughout the day: Under 18s at 9:30am, Reserves at 11:30am, and Seniors at 2:20pm. Check the club's social media pages for any further details.
