Moe Lions Club Meetings

About

Every fortnight, the Moe Lions Club comes alive with conversation, community planning, and the warm camaraderie of locals committed to making a difference in the Latrobe Valley.

Founded in 1969 with 25 charter members, the Lions Club of Moe has grown into a vibrant group of more than 20 women and men who collectively dedicate thousands of hours each year to service. Over their fifty-plus year history, members have contributed more than 100,000 hours of community service and raised over one million dollars for local, national and international causes.

Meetings are relaxed dinner gatherings held at the Newbough Bowls Club, where members can order from the venue's menu, hear from interesting guest speakers, and contribute to ongoing club projects. Activities span natural disaster relief, maintenance of community assets, and fundraising for individuals and groups in need. Visitors, friends and family are always welcome.

The Moe Lions Club represents the very best of community spirit in Latrobe City — ordinary people achieving extraordinary things through collective effort, good humour, and a genuine commitment to those around them. Their work strengthens the social fabric of the region and creates lasting positive impact.

Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 6:30pm at the Newbough Bowls Club, 112 Monash Road, Newbough. For more information, visit the club's website or simply show up — new faces are always welcome.
