Mind Over Miles Challenge

About

Push your limits and show up for your community over 24 gruelling, inspiring hours on the track at Newborough. Mind Over Miles Challenge is where resilience meets solidarity — and every step counts.

Organised by Bettermentall Australia Inc. and created through the Gippsland Community Leadership Program syndicate, this event brings together teams and individuals for a 24-hour running and walking challenge. Its purpose is threefold: to test personal boundaries, to strengthen community spirit, and to raise vital funds for mental health support services in our region.

Participants will take on the track in relay-style or solo efforts across the full 24-hour window, drawing on grit and the encouragement of teammates and spectators alike. Whether you run, jog or walk, the experience is centred on connection, resilience, and the shared act of showing up — for yourself and for those in your community who need support the most.

Events like Mind Over Miles are deeply meaningful for Latrobe City and the broader Gippsland region, where grassroots fundraising efforts directly sustain organisations like Bettermentall Australia Inc. in delivering mental health programs and services to people who need them most.

The challenge begins on Saturday 3 October 2026 at 14:00 at 307 Old Sale Rd, Newborough. For more details, search for the event on Facebook via Bettermentall Australia Inc.
