Latrobe Valley Philatelic Society Stamp and Coin Fair

About

Stamp albums, coin trays and the quiet thrill of discovery fill the Uniting Church hall on Park Lane — this is where Latrobe Valley's collectors come together for a day of philatelic and numismatic treasure hunting.

The Latrobe Valley Philatelic Society, proudly sponsored by Latrobe City Council, presents its Stamp and Coin Fair, bringing together local and Melbourne dealers under one roof for a full day of buying, selling and swapping stamps, coins and accessories.

Visitors can browse dealer tables stocked with everything from classic Australian stamps to rare coins and collector accessories, and take advantage of free valuations on items they already own. Admission is by gold coin donation, keeping the fair genuinely accessible to everyone from seasoned collectors to curious newcomers. The venue is wheelchair accessible, children are warmly welcome, ample parking is available on site, and refreshments will be on hand to keep you going through the day.

Events like this are vital for keeping specialist collecting communities alive and connected across regional Victoria, offering Latrobe City residents an affordable, expert-led experience they would otherwise need to travel to Melbourne to find.

The fair runs from 9am to 3pm on Saturday 17 October 2026 at the Uniting Church, Park Lane, Traralgon. For further information, contact Christine on 0427 770 522.
