It's time to dig out the silliest, most spectacular hat you own and head to the Morwell Hotel for a Kids Day Out session guaranteed to raise a smile — the Funny Hat Party. Part of the hotel's entertaining 2026 Kids Day Out series, this session invites families across Latrobe City to get creative with their headwear for a lighthearted afternoon or evening of fun. In addition to the best-dressed hat competition, kids enjoy free meals, face painting, a colouring competition, and busy arts and crafts tables that keep imaginations running wild. It's a wonderfully simple theme that encourages creativity and brings plenty of laughter to the table.
