Hosted at Morwell Neighbourhood House as the third of four Tuesday community lunches, this session is part of the Cultural Food Festival supported by the Victoria State Government. Local Rohingya community members prepare and serve food from their own culinary tradition, bringing a deeply personal dimension to every dish.
Visitors can look forward to fragrant layered rice dishes, fresh cucumber salads, slow-cooked curries and accompaniments that reflect the distinct flavours of the Rohingya culinary heritage — a cuisine shaped by the Bay of Bengal coastline and generations of tradition.
