About
The magic of Christmas fills the air as voices rise together for carols in the park — a warm, joyful tradition in the heart of Moe. Whether you come for the music, the food or just the spirit of the season, this is an evening that brings the whole community together.
Organised by Old Gippstown and the Moe Lions Club, Christmas Carols in the Park is a beloved annual celebration welcoming everyone to mark the festive season as a community. Santa himself is expected to make an appearance, adding that essential touch of Christmas wonder for young and old alike.
Visitors can look forward to live Christmas carols, a visit from Santa, food vans, market stalls and games, along with a host of other festive activities. The four-hour event offers plenty of time to wander, snack, sing and soak up the celebratory atmosphere in a relaxed, family-friendly outdoor setting.
Events like this are the lifeblood of community connection in Latrobe City — free, inclusive gatherings where neighbours become friends and local organisations demonstrate the warmth and generosity that define the region at its best.
Christmas Carols in the Park takes place on Saturday 12 December 2026 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at 211 Lloyd Street, Moe. The event is public and open to all. Check the Old Gippstown Facebook page for further details closer to the date.
