Moe Historical Society
Explore Moe and Newborough's history through thousands of photographs, articles, documents and museum objects in the old Moe Court House.
The experience
Moe Historical Society collects, records and shares the history of Moe, Newborough and district. Visitors can search more than 9,000 photographs, 2,250 paper articles and about 650 museum objects, alongside maps, newspapers, ephemera and other printed records.
The society began in 1963 and documents communities including Coalville, Narracan, Hill End, Tanjil South, Willow Grove and Westbury. Its quarterly Coach News newsletter adds more than 200 editions of local history articles to the collection.
