The experience

The sound of tools and the satisfaction of making something provide an easy way into conversation. Traralgon Men's Shed & Woodworking Inc. is a place to work with your hands while spending time with others.

The not-for-profit group provides experience and training in woodworking and describes the shed as an informal setting for manual crafts, restoration projects and shared activity. It is also a member of the Victorian and Australian men's shed associations.

Members can develop practical skills, exchange knowledge, work on projects and build friendships at their own pace. The emphasis is as much on participation and companionship as it is on the finished object.
