The experience

A subject you have always meant to explore can become the start of a new weekly rhythm. Latrobe Valley U3A brings learning and social connection together for people in retirement and semi-retirement.

The organisation is run by and for retirees, with members and volunteer leaders sharing their knowledge and interests. It offers a changing program of classes and activities rather than formal study, examinations or qualifications.

The experience is participatory: members can join discussions, creative and practical activities, movement sessions and interest groups according to the current program. Just as importantly, classes create regular opportunities to meet people who are curious about the same things.

U3A makes lifelong learning feel social, local and open-ended. View the current courses through the official membership system, then contact Latrobe Valley U3A if you need help choosing or enrolling.
