The experience

The Moe Yallourn Rail Trail follows the former railway corridor from Moe towards Yallourn. The route passes the Moe Botanic Gardens, crosses Narracan Creek and continues through bushland and open country, with views towards Lake Narracan, the Haunted Hills and Yallourn Power Station.

The published route is 8 km one way. It begins at the Bennett Street trailhead in Moe and finishes at Graeme Edwards Memorial Garden on Eastern Road, so plan your return journey before setting out.
